About Us
Welcome to The Lil Rascals – a family-owned, community-led holiday club built with children, families, and fun at the heart of everything we do.
The idea for The Lil Rascals was inspired by our own daughter. Like many parents, we found it difficult during the school holidays to find childcare that was not only safe and reliable, but somewhere she genuinely looked forward to going. We wanted a place where children could laugh, play, explore, make friends, and create memories – while parents could feel confident knowing their children were happy, safe, and cared for.
So, we created it ourselves.
At The Lil Rascals, we believe every child deserves a holiday experience filled with adventure, creativity, and belonging. Whether it’s sports, crafts, themed activities, outdoor play, or simply spending time with friends, we aim to create a warm and welcoming environment where children can truly be themselves.
As parents ourselves, we know how important trust is. That’s why we invested heavily in training, qualifications, and building an amazing team of staff with a variety of skills, personalities, and experience – each bringing their own energy, creativity, and flair to our settings.
We are proud to be an inclusive holiday club, welcoming children aged 3–12 years old. We provide age-appropriate spaces, activities, and support to ensure every child feels included, valued, and able to thrive.
The Lil Rascals operates throughout every school holiday across the year (excluding Christmas, New Year, and Bank Holidays).
We also aim to make childcare as accessible as possible by accepting Tax-Free Childcare and offering payment plans. Through Welsh Government support schemes, we are also able to help support vulnerable families access childcare and enriching experiences.
We are incredibly proud to have grown quickly, opening multiple settings within our first year. All of our settings are fully inspected and approved by both Ofsted and Care Inspectorate Wales, giving families added peace of mind.
